In addition to drawing from our extensive experience and working relationships with most of the senior living communities throughout Northern New Jersey, the Amada senior housing team also helps families explore options that may make it easier to cover the cost of residential care. We guide clients through the application process and help them submit claims and manage benefits to make the most of resources such as veterans’ aid programs, long-term care insurance, and other non-traditional payment options. Our clients deserve the very best care, and we do all we can to ensure that they receive it.
Our caregivers at ComForCare Home Care Mountainside are trained to recognize triggers and use redirection to help prevent or reduce challenging behavior. Dementia care services allow individuals with Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia to do more of what they enjoy in the familiarity and comfort of their home. The dementia care services we provide are designed to help enhance the quality of life by helping clients remain independent for as long as possible.
At United Methodist Communities HomeWorks, we understand the challenges you face taking care of a loved one. You want to provide the full support they need while respecting their independence and personal dignity. You want to be there for them, but the demands of work, family and everyday life just don’t allow you to be present in the capacity your loved one deserves.

When challenges arise such as the onset of dementia, our fully-trained, experienced staff help to, not only recognize the early stages and signs of dementia, but also to help assist in this difficult time through a compassionate support system and professional senior home health care services. Our staff can help develop day-to-day dementia care routines, which include keeping structure and familiarity. A great value for a dementia patient is remaining within familiar surroundings as long as possible to eliminate distress. United Methodist Communities HomeWorks elderly care services allow families time to consider their options including transitioning to assisted living.

Our certified senior advisors have a comprehensive knowledge of available care options, and we maintain connections and partnerships with some of the most reputable facilities in the US. At Griswold Home Care of Cumberland County, we knew that there was a huge under-served senior population in the local community. It has been our mission to meet the elder care demands so that seniors could continue to remain where they are most content, surrounded by cherished memories that they’ve made at home. Our team feels a huge sense of fulfillment when we are able to help a neighbor, friend or friend of a friend establish the care that they desperately need in the place that they are most comfortable.
We opened our ComForCare location because we want to bring joy and dignity to our clients’ lives as a trusted care provider and friend. Our business has always been about people. They are what makes all of this worthwhile. Because of that, we are keenly aware of the ability we have to change a person’s life for the better. Our mission is to help clients and their family members enjoy each other during this transitional phase by providing care, advice and ongoing support.

To qualify for NJ Long Term Care Medicaid, an applicant's functional ability, monthly income, and countable resources are considered. A single individual, as of 2018, can have up to $2,250 / month in income. Income in excess can be allocated to a Qualifying Income Trust (QIT). This is a way to effectively lower countable income, helping one to become income eligible for long-term care Medicaid.
We offer care services that are designed to address your elderly loved one’s unique issues. For example, our Companion Care caregivers aid your senior family member with light household chores such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry. This is to ensure that your loved one retains a sense of independence while enjoying the company and camaraderie our caregivers provide.
I would like to share my experience with Griswold Home Care here in Vineland, New Jersey. I live in North Carolina and my mother’s care is very important to me. Some things have become a little difficult for her and I wanted her to have some help in caring for herself and her home. I was pleasantly surprised to find a home health care agency right here in Vineland. Beth, my mother’s caseworker was excellent. Very supportive and kept in constant contact with my mother to make sure her care was up to the standard that Griswold expects. That was not a problem as our home health care provided was an angel. On time, honest, and hard working. Plus, she always puts my mother’s safety first. I have met Arlene numerous times and find her to be one of the most caring people I have ever met. Griswold is flexible and will met the ever changing needs of their clients. Recently my mother was in the hospital and to my surprise both Beth and Arlene came by to check on her. Now that is going the extra mile. I highly recommend Griswold Home Care for any and all of your home health care needs. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
