Despite its small size, New Jersey is packed with places for seniors to check out. Atlantic City is filled with casinos and luxury hotels, as well as shop filled boardwalks. As for nature, seniors can check out the Delaware Water Gap and the Liberty State Park. Lastly, there are many diverse neighborhoods to visit, offering delicious foods and rich culture from Cuba, Italy, Brazil, and more. You can also find attractions across Jersey’s Bergen and Middlesex counties.

Lares has been exceptional from day one. They have been kind, cooperative, professional, friendly and punctual. The owner, the RN and the home health aides have all made us feel like my Mom is their only priority. They have always been receptive to our needs and requests. They respond in a timely manner. My Mom and Dad are very happy with the care they receive and that means the world to myself and my siblings. I highly recommend Lares.

Determining the best elder care option for yourself or your aging loved one largely depends on medical and emotional needs, lifestyle preferences, location preferences and available resources to cover cost of care.If you are considering elder care options in New Jersey or if you are considering becoming a primary caregiver, take some time to consider the best option for both yourself and your loved one.
After Mom and Dad retired, they stayed so busy. When they weren't traveling, they were playing cards with friends, dining out with the neighbors, volunteering for some community group or church project. When Dad's health took a turn, Mom was determined to stay in the house, taking care of him herself, day and night, for over two years before he died. Now that he's gone, we've noticed she's not getting out much and I don't think she ever has a decent meal. She's too independent to come and live with Sis or me, and we just live too far away to help as much as we'd like to.
